Aerospace - Specialist Bearings...
Industria aerospace department offers a unique services which is
unmatched by others. We can offer a made to measure service for hybrid bearings.
We have many applications with requirements which catalogue standard bearings
cannot match. Because of this we can supply tailored solutions which will extend
a bearings performance envelope while retaining standard overall dimensions.
Solutions can involve the use of:

High Speed bearings
Our latest addition to the aerospace field is that of ultra high speed hybrid
bearings for model aircraft gas turbines and industrial turbines.
These bearings come under some of the most punishing
environments possible. Problems include;
- Speeds between 100 to 120,000 RPM and tested up to
144,000 RPM !!
- Temperature range 200 to 250°C
- Unbalanced turbine blades
- Ingress of unclean bleed air
- Irregular oil mist lubrication
Industria Bearings & Transmissions Ltd can now offer a bearing which remains stable
and will combat all of the above. Based on the 608 size, this hybrid deep groove
ball bearing.....
We can also offer a full compliment bearing (no retainer) which some users
prefer for the turbine end of the turbine. (Due to the ceramic material,
superior wear characteristics are observed on ball/ball contact).
It also worth noting that for Industrial turbines different sizes (other than
608) can be made depending on the quantities required.
